Extends the native <textarea> element. Supports auto-sizing via field-sizing-content, controlled and uncontrolled usage, and an optional character counter.

  • The component tracks value internally when used uncontrolled, to support showCount.
  • Use aria-invalid to activate the error ring style.
  • Dark mode is handled via semantic tokens.
